....but definitely Asian. The cut of the stone and the incisions are similar to some I have. I really like these!!! They look to have some great age as well Nice find...hope you get! Lynne
Although the incised designs look good I'm not convinced about this necklace. Silver beads seem to be new, , and the turquoise itself.. Does any of it look dyed at all? I don't know.. Just feel something is off .
Hi Lopacki
I just saw your beautiful turquoise necklace. I happen to have a similar bead like one of yours with the carved eyes and a vertical line down the middle and sloping sides. Mine was purchased in Xian China about 10 years ago.
Attached are 2 pics of the bead front and back. Somehow I think this bead is quite old if not ancient. There are authentic looking toolmarks in the perforations as well as around the eyes and the patina looks ok.
Think you are lucky to have quite a few on your strand ! Care to share the source ?

Sallie,
I did not purchase this strand I was just trying to find information on it. Someone put it on Facebook and said they would consider offers, at this point I decided they would want more than I would be willing to pay.
Thank you for the feedback ....... All my best ...... Danny
Hi Danny and all
for me the strand seems to have a variety of sourses.
The type that sallie has posted I also have seen the similar in china made of bone or green stone(?).But not sure about its age.
and for the turquoise with dotted circles I myself think they are from middle asia country like pakistan...They are not typical chinese.
these days there are more and more foreign beads dealers in Beijing market and they bring beads from almost all over the world.
It might be more difficult to tell a beads backgroud just considering where it is from.
