Hi Danny and all for me the strand seems to have a variety of sourses. The type that sallie has posted I also have seen the similar in china made of bone or green stone(?).But not sure about its age. and for the turquoise with dotted circles I myself think they are from middle asia country like pakistan...They are not typical chinese. these days there are more and more foreign beads dealers in Beijing market and they bring beads from almost all over the world.
