Thin walled feather trailed tubes

At today's Northern California Bead Society Spring Bead Bazaar, I found several strands of 16 mm x 6 mm feather trailed glass tube beads. The holes were quite large, 3-4 mm, so the walls were thin.

The vendor thought these were Venetian, but several others, including myself, think they are from India.

Very inexpensive, so I picked some up.

Anyone have specific knowledge of this bead?

The red ones do look Indian but up till now i've never seen decorated tubular beads with such thin walls from India. Other possibilities would be Turkey or Hebron, or somewhere else where the furnace-winding skills have been taken, such as East Africa.
I have some furnace-wound beads i will show during the next few days (after easter is over) made by a Kenyan artist who was taught in the 1990s by her Scandinavian husband...!
