here is an old glass bead mold next to a newer Christmas ornament mold from Lauscha, samll molds circa 1860-1910 larger mold, 1940-1960's

this bead became detached from an old sample card found in an attic in Lauscha made using the previously shown mold types.

These molds really help illustrate that even molded glass bead making was not such a mass production.
