Can someone please tell me exactly what this is. I've heard it all in the marketing of it. But I am not convinced this is a "genuine nugget of Kingman Turquoise". I also know that Colbaugh now owns the mine.

We all know no Turquoise comes out of the ground looking like this. It's clearly colorized, But there are those offering large nuggests for like $36.00. In my estimation this would be impossible. If it was all genuine Kingman turquoise, mined in that mine and only "colorized" it would cost a fortune.

I believe its a composite. Mostly resin, color and bronze with a VERY small % of actual Kingman turquoise, (either crushed or very small nuggets ixed in) if any.

What do you all think? I doubt even colorized Howlite would come this cheap.

You've got the main idea. Here is an informative thread from 2011 with some great info. Not all the links are still working, but you will find it worthwhile to read the whole thing anyway.

Thank you, honey, I really appreciate it. People who are selling it are having a FIT when I start asking questions. I suspect when I read your link and I again thank you for it. It will verify what I already believe to be true.
