I think the beads are Czech. They are cut beads. I could not find any size charts on line to try to find out. Here is a close up of the bead work for you.

Just guessing size 13 charlotte cuts, as that seems the most used for this work...with the innermost 7 beads a little larger...thanks for sharing these! I'd love to hear them in motion.

fantastic shoes. Now we only wonder what the whole costume and the dancer look like!
