I have said for years that when making beads there is roughly 80% waste this bead had 83 % waste. Needless to say if you start our with expensive material you loose plenty in just the cutting.

Here is a better image to give an idea of the size of the bead, much better to see this and most beads in someones hand/fingers. I already had taken some images of the bead with the cobalt blue behind it to text to a few friends as I was making it and remembered how well it showed the green in the bead.
