Has anyone else had Paypal defer payment approvals for item descriptions containing words such as "Burma ruby" or "Aleppo"?

My guess is that they're under pressure to curtail trade with embargoed regimes.

I guess I should revise my online sale listings for "Cornaline d'Aleppo" beads to just "Cornaline"? Otherwise shipment can be delayed for as much as four days. Such a nuisance.

I have not had any problems with Paypal but Etsy canceled one of my listings because I used "Burmese Jade" in the description of a necklace I created. Apparently, the U.S. Treasury Department periodically cracks down on etailers allowing sales of materials from embargoed countries. Your problem with Aleppo is new to me.
