This bead came out of China about 12 years ago. It doesn’t look in anyway Chinese to me, it is fairly large L: 3.3cm and D: .3.3cm. It is semi translucent no signs of wear except for some cracks and the hole has some dodgy looking hard packed white stuff inside. It would be nice to know where it originally might have come from. Thanks

Fred had some of these for sale, and Danny bought some that had been assembled into brush handles.

I seem to remember Jamey chiming in and stating that these were recently made - i.e., post 1970s.
