Does anyone have a recommendation for a plating service that will restore the gold plating to silver beads - otherwise known as vermeil? There are place to be found on-line but I'd like to know if anyone has had success with any of them.

Hi Rosanna, I have a name scribbled down somewhere in a box that I will look for. It's a company that used to do gold-plating for Ignacio & Caroline Villarreal who owned the store that started me off on my collecting passions years ago called Craft Caravan in NY. Let me see what I can find over the next week & I will let you know, ok? I have so many boxes still unpacked from my move last year due to the ridiculous amount of time it's taking me to recover from my heart surgery that I'm not certain where it is.
