Neat-o item on offer at eBay - 351234298704

The cloisonne beads appear to be pretty standard 1970s - 1990s pieces [Later: some are quite interesting - such as the beads with tiny gourds on them - so perhaps "pretty standard" should be amended to say "nicer than average"), but what about the enamel beads? Are these post WWII as well, or do they date back to the Deco era?

The enamel beads are pretty interesting - some appear to be wireless.

Because of the lack of knots between the beads, the likelihood seems high to me that this necklace was not assembled in China, but was put together from different assortments sometime in the 1980s or 1990s.

Anybody know anything useful?

some of the ovals are glazed and/or painted ceramic. If they are like the ones i have then they may also be slightly hollow.

Stefany - am I mistaken in guessing that they're oval versions of these round beads?

eBay item 371197418879

Their being porcelain would explain the white spots on some of them that appear to be chips in the enamel - but the blackened holes seem to look more like oxidized copper -- ???
