Intending to deter evil spirits, Tibetan masks often depict guardian deities -more often found in Tibetan drama.

The copper mask in this image is only two inches tall. I believe it may have been attached to a leather strap at one time:

I'll follow you down the merry off-subject path here for a moment....Fred, you reminded me of my most favorite of Halloweens past, so glad I did (almost!) all the crazy stuff I did!

Some time in the 80s Screamin' Jay did a Halloween show in a little bar, packed past capacity, on Haight St., SF...I was right up front...imagine the whole bar screaming right along with him...he rose from the coffin to open with this song...
