Tasart posted some of these that he found in Tucson and I purchased some at the bead show here in New York a couple of months ago. They are very nice, but they are very inexpensive reproductions from Java.
Here's linkage to Jamey's post from March 2011, absolutely worth reviewing as these are unleashed into a market where novices are sure to be fleeced! These lovely beads were approx. 9.00 each when I saw them in Tucson in Feb. and selling like hotcakes.
I haven't located the images Thomas showed of beads from the dealer who was both at Rodeway and Santa Fe, but next post are some that Tasmania_gal showed recently as well.
This image from tasmania_gal in March 2011 was posted amongst this very interesting series by bcn members on the subject of bead making in Java, beginning with Floor's Beadbrothers report from the Netherlands and including links from Jamey's extensive coverage of his Java trip fall of 2009.
