As I go through my huge stash of old stone beads and organize them into groups I find a group now and again that stands out. The images below are to me extra special in shape and technique.

Any information on this type bead is most welcome as I am most curious as to their origin.

Largest bead 14.4mm in diameter 13.3mm long
Smallest bead 11.5mm in diameter 10.3mm long

All seem to be made of jasper.
