Suzi and I had a wonderful time while at Tucson we got to see many friends and also meet new friends. We were so busy that we did not get to any of the other shows, towards the end of our show we got to go shop for beads which we did at our venue.

Seeing as though our interests now are mainly ancient stone beads we were blessed by the fact that Hassan at Silk Road Treasures had an abundance of beads for us to look at. We purchased quite a few beads from him.

I also got an incredible bead from David Ebbinghouse that came out of his not for sale stash. David saw that our likes and interests in ancient beads were along the line of those he is interested in, so he came down to our room and blessed us with showing us beads that he did not have on display but were his favorites, I can tell you without a doubt this was one of the main highlights of the show. David offered me one bead from his working beads and I could not, not buy it.

Following are images of some of the beads we purchased, I will start out with three beads and then as I take new images will post more.

All my best .............. Danny

The first bead below is the one we got from David. It is Bactrian and it is two to five thousand years old. When purchased it was nearly all white with age, with just a bit of skin oil you can see that it is quickly coming back to life.
55.6mm long 10.4mm at largest diameter hole size 4mm

The second image is from the same time period and the same style as the one I got from David. I picked this bead up from Hassan prior to my purchase from David. I think that this bead showed David that we are kindred spirits in our bead likes because he came to the room after I showed him this bead.
42.4mm long 9.5mm at largest diameter 3.3mm hole size
