One of the reasons that I love old and ancient beads (among other old and ancient things) is
that they often have a fine PATINA. My gift of old Islamic beads was described by santa(s) as
being well-worn and this is what makes them especially beautiful. Some of them are already
"strung" on a bead stand in the midst of other old and ancient beads.
