Recently I've been researching cloisonne artist Qian MeiHua, an artistic director at the Jing Fa factory from 1958 on. This style of mixed enamels is apparently something she started, in an effort to introduce modern coloring techniques and new enamels into cloisonne.

Which makes these beads far more interesting, I think, than being merely "antique."

The wirework flower patterns on these beads are also vintage 60s-90s.
