Mulberry beads look similar indeed, so may be they have been the model...but the raised dots on that bead are not that many (more space between the dots) and these dots here are looking more "arranged" in 5 rows...the glass is little translucent (I took the photos in the shadow).

One more nice sunny morning here in Mirleft, market day, and I will have a look to one of the street traders, who told me, he will bring "2 kilos nice Venetian beads" today for me...I fear, they will be from Ghana recently made... :-) Tomorrow then I will start the shopping part of the holiday in Tiznit...please cross your fingers...smile...
