And I've seen any number of eBay auctions by Japanese under the mistaken impression that the obviously Chinese cloisonne piece they're selling was made in Japan. At least, I think it's a mistake and not deliberate misinformation, because we're not talking big bucks here. Young people are selling off stuff from grandpa and grandma's estate in Japan, too, I imagine.
