I told Fred that I had to design and build Lela’s ruby ring prior to getting on his project that’s only been sitting around since shortly after Tucson 2013. Well it seems like he will be getting something out of me faster than Lela.

We gave Lela a three carat Burmese ruby for Christmas, three Christmases ago, when I gave it to her I told her not to hold her breath on the ring. Well I finally am in the design aspect on the ring. I did these three rings and planned on four or five for her to pick from. The other day she had to be honest with Dad and tell him she wanted an everyday ring in silver (I knew all along she wanted silver just did gold in the design work). I agreed with her that these designs, at least two weren’t everyday around the homestead rings so I am now doing a few kick around designs that I am in hopes she will find suited for what she wants.

So for Fred! It looks like you won’t be waiting quite as long as Lela for your project. The nice thing, I am getting plenty of practice with this 3D software so when I get on your project I should be able to give you more than a few ideas prior to doing any work.

Thanks for your patience and friendship.

All my best ........... Danny
