Danny, Thank you for the detailed response. One bead is damaged and yes, it does look like a clear adhesive like glue or epoxy was used. The stones also look like block. As you said, the color is far too consistent to be natural.

I did not do a pin test, or acid test for sterling silver, because I was hoping to be able to return the necklace. However, Marnie Feldman refused to refund my money even though she knew she had represented it.

I have seen this type of "Zuni" mosaic work on pieces of jewelry: pendants, pins and earrings. What confused me is that I could not find BEADS like these anywhere on the internet.
