Original Message:   Please Help ID These Beads
I bought this bead necklace from Marnie Feldman a few weeks ago. She presented the necklace as one of three known to exist and went so far as to say that of the three, one is in the private collection of Ronald Lauder. According to her, the necklace is a Russian-inspired Art Deco piece made by Wiener Werkstatte in the early 1900's. She said the beads are sterling silver inset with semi-precious stones including malachite and turquoise. However, in my research to date I have been unable to find any reference, drawing or even picture of these beads or any similar to them. I have focused my searches on the origin, what they were made of, and how they were made. If anyone can impart any information and insights regarding these beads it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Florence
