How could I not say where I got it, you all have helped me out so much over the years that would be the height of ungratefulness. It was on one of the online action sites (not the big-E) and advertised as a "box lot". The problem for them is they took crummy photos, didn't show all the contents spread out and the stuff on top that they DID show was basically junk (brightly colored wooden beads). I just happened to catch a glimmer of some millefiori underneath and we were off to the races :)

I don't know if that info is going to help anyone, I basically lucked into it as I was watching some other items in this auction and saw this lot. I haunt sites like Live Auctioneers and Proxibid, and go to a lot of local auctions, antique shows, estate sales, and antique shops. This is the second bunch I've come across like this, it's been about 2-3 years since the last one. This one is MUCH larger and more varied. It's like a dream that I'm afraid I'm going to wake up from! heehee

Thanks for looking everyone, please keep the comments coming (I'm especially interested to know about the non-Venetian beads which I am far from expert in) and I'll be sure that anything I sell shows up in the trade pages here first (that is not an ad, it's a promise to all my bead buddies).

Happy Easter everyone! Melissa
