I have a Middle Eastern furnace made wound black melon bead with yellow trail from the 20th century. This bead was ‘nagging’ me because I didn’t really know what it was. Now I know what this bead might be and what it definitely is not, I am happy and will wear it with love as it was given with love. It just is a pity that Ward contributed so much to the rent of Beads of Paradise! I think it is about time to find and visit someone with a great collection of Islamic beads so that I can see, feel and compare these special ancient beads. Thank you all!
