Hi Joyce, Thank you for the info. I have been wondering about this white substance, but thought it could be either caked earth from being stuck somewhere in the ground, or residue from a mandrel. How can I figure out what it really is. Or are my assumptions ridiculous and sounding like coming from a desperado :-) ?
I was merely concerned about the outspoken melon shape and the not so well fused trail, ... but it seems like the dirty white substance might be more of a clue?
