Original Message:   I believe a newer piece from Nepal/Himalaya/Tibet/India
Hi. I don't know of any traditional name for this style necklace, although it is a style that comes from many tribes through-out the world. These are frequently sold on Ebay if you search under Tibetan Turquoise Coral....although I agree you have some lovely old coral beads in yours, which is not typical. But if you see the older pieces, it wouldn't have the inlaid turquoise or that type of silver work & scrollwork. The newer elements to me look to be the focal centerpiece/pendant as well as the triangular coral/silver or halfmoon pieces. The parts with the silver as well... Antique necklaces of this style from Tibet are typically more primitive, less fancy.....I will try to locate some of my original necklaces from that part of the world & send you some photos, although everything is packed away still from when we moved during my surgery & I've yet to unpack and reorganize all of my jewelry and beads. The 2 big chunky inlaid pieces of turquoise in the back may be original turquoise reset in newer silver, but I'm not certain. Hope this helps and enjoy your necklace! Lynne
