I'm posting two pictures of what I assume is a late 19th-early 20th century Peking glass bead on a brass canister made for the tourist trade and a necklace made up of mottled beads w/ scattered murrine. I think the former is another example of Peking glass beads with swirled patterns (no murrine though) discussed about a week ago; see Mel's necklace: http://beadcollector.net/cgibin/anyboard.cgifvp=/openforum/&cmd=get&cG=137363333343&zu=313734323135&v=2&gV=0&p=.
