Saturday we drove down to San Francisco to meet someone. To my delight, I realized I was only a few blocks away from Yone Beads. Unfortunately, Google Maps didn't tell me that Filbert Street was actually 'the Filbert Steps", a very steep set of stairs that seems to ascend halfway up Telegraph Hill.... About a jillion steps later, I reached the next street, and Yone Beads was another block or two away. Unfortunately, when I got there, they were closed due to a water leak. :^( Oh, well, perhaps next time. In the meantime, I took a pic of a tray of beads in their window, including a lovely little hank of what I think are aqua Czech opal glass wavy discs, very small, which I covet.
