Original Message:   Happy Thanksgiving!
Let's count our blessings along with our beads!

I'm grateful for BCN and the opportunities to make new bead friends, to learn about an amazing array of beads, old and new, and to share bead adventures.

Thanks especially to Joyce & David for keeping BCN alive!

Here are my new favorite beads - antique carved phenolic beads, probably from Mauritania. Been looking to buy some for quite a while and finally got lucky. Stringing was a fun challenge - to disguise the appearance of the stringing material, I placed small gold beads in the center holes (where I could). Getting the bead to stay put while snaking the wire through was an exercise in extreme patience.

Post your newest favorite beads if you get some time away from pie-baking and last-minute food shopping!
