Original Message:   Here we are again - dZi and gZi beads.
Hi

I have a collection of dZi and gZi beads that I bought whilst travelling through Burma, they were sourced from India and Afghanistan apparently, or at least that's what I was told.

I am fully aware of the copies, the laser printed, the bead whole drilled by hand through the middle or lasered or using modern techniques, the former with the line being disjointed under light photography, of the numerous tales and words I hear from traders saying "original" and then smiling and not saying much else until an exorbitant price is quoted or less than $50 is quoted even though they are supposed to be "original" and a trader knows their value yet is still willing to let them go a massive fraction of their value.

Anyway, these are the photographs.

Any and all knowledge and advice would be appreciated. However, go easy with the comments if you are tired of copy dZi and gZi beads and you immediately know these to be worth nothing.

Thank you.

Kind regards

Richard
