I know that this is not a bead but I am posting this ring because there are experts on the forum that know far more than beads. I recently purchased this ring mainly because of the stone in it. After I received it I could see that the metal work was hand made. Being hand made and stamped .925 it reenforced my feeling that I just might have the stone I thought this stone to be “Jadeite”. I know that there are those on the planet that prefer silver over gold, a category which my daughter belongs to. So perhaps this ring was made for just such a person. I tested the stone and know that it is stone not glass, I was going to take the stone from its setting but because it is handmade decided that this might be a major mistake. I would be most interested in hearing from you, your opinions on where you think this metal work may have been done. I have a place where I can send this in and have it tested to see if in fact it is Jadeite (I hope) if and when I do I will let all of you know the results. Thank you in advance for your comments.
