(even though this is not bead related ahem) I would guess from this very unclear picture that it could be a Yoruba Ibeji figure. It is possible that this is reproduction and has been aged to appear old. Has the face been eaten by insects? If it is an Ibeji, the carving of the shoulders and the posture do not look like those of an older piece. A more positive ID could be given with a clear picture and the measurements.
