I'm back in Manila and first stop to the Thieves Market, sorry Thieves Market is in Mumbai, I mean Market Market, to see what is going on there in Beads.
This is not where I buy my beads, for reasons that will become obvious, but I always find something of interest.
These black and white glass beads were being sold as "ancient Venetian made bead trade from Africa" but although superficially scuffed the cores were clean and seemed unworn. Asking cost was P1800 a strand or about $41:
