every so often I come across some beads that I think are special enough to post. I've not seen them before and the seller that I bought them from has not seen them before either. They were found in Asante country in Ghana. the colors of the canes are, from the center out, red, dark blue, white, dark blue with yellow stripes. I believe them to be venetian, they measure approximately 17mm x 10 mm. I have 22 beads that are all made the same way, one vertical row of 3 canes on one side and on the opposite side one cane.
