Original Message:   Wedding cake beads?
These light yellow decorated beads were my latest antique market purchase. The necklace is made up of 19 beads, decorated with aventurins and pink flowers with turquoise. The beads range in size from 17mm wide to 12mm wide. They may have been intended to be used in a graduated necklace, but not sure. It looks to me like the clasp is added later on, and the whole necklace, which is knotted, may be restrung at some time. There are little beadcaps which may be original.

Not very familar with these beads. My current guess is 'wedding cake beads', made in Venice in the 1920's intended for the European market?
